The challenge was to create a label that stood out at an entry-level price while still feeling high-quality. Inspired by the idea that “it’s always time for wine,” Rain or Shine uses a simple, classy aesthetic featuring a hand-drawn sketch of a woman in a breezy dress. The label’s scalloped dieline mimics the shape of an umbrella, symbolically “shielding” her from the stylized rain above. For this project, I created all illustrations, and designed the full label system, and developed the visual direction.
